Run for Hope - Vienna, IL
Run for Hope is a race day hosted by Eagle House Ministries on September 25. The event includes a kids fun run, a 5K run and walk, and a 10K run. Registration fees include race items and services specific to each distance.
Distances and fees:
- 10K Run: $35; includes race t-shirt and food.
- 5K Run and Walk: $30; includes race t-shirt and application fees.
- Kids Fun Run: $20.
The 5K and 10K start on Tunnel Hill Trail; buses transport participants to the starting area. The kids event takes place at Vienna City Park and is scheduled before the other races so parents and participants can be present for the finish. The 10K is held as a run only event due to available daylight. The 5K is professionally timed and includes age categories with trophies and prizes. The kids event awards an overall boys and girls medal and second and third place ribbons.
All entrants agree to a race waiver that acknowledges the risks of running and volunteering, assumes those risks, and releases Eagle House Ministries, the City of Vienna, and event sponsors and representatives from related claims. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
