  • 100 Mile
  • 100K
  • 50K
  • Night 50K
  • Half Marathon

Registration is open for the 2026 event and the registration period closes in mid-August. Each registered runner receives a custom event shirt; the default women’s option is a tank top and a unisex T-shirt is available.

Course, support, and logistics

The course is a figure-eight loop made up of about 80% single-track trail with dirt and some fire roads. The terrain is technical, with rocks, roots, ruts and creek crossings, and substantial elevation gain noted as approximately 2,500 to 7,500 feet over a 50-mile segment. The route passes sandstone canyon systems, waterfalls (including Pakentuck Falls, Jackson Falls, Horseshoe Falls and Cedar Falls), and ridge viewpoints.

There are five manned aid stations stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, snacks and first aid. Distances between stations average about 5 miles, with no segment greater than about 8 miles. Restrooms are located at several aid stations and the start/finish area.

Pacer policies differ by distance: pacers are allowed (one at a time) for the 100 Mile and 100K with required waiver and bib; pacers are not allowed for the 50K, Night 50K, or Half Marathon. Time limits are set per distance and finisher awards include belt buckles and medals by distance. Lodging options include included tree-house accommodations for runner plus one and on-site tent camping. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
