About the race
Run For Hope is a community running event held October 3, 2026 along the Woodlands Waterway at Town Green Park in Spring, Texas. The event benefits children and teens in the foster care system who have experienced abandonment, abuse, or neglect.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 10K timed race
- 5K timed race
- 1 mile fun run or walk with youth categories
Medals are awarded to the overall male and female winners of the 5K and 10K and to top finishers in specific age groups. The event includes a light breakfast, children’s entertainment, and partner booths offering information on child abuse awareness, fostering, and adoption.
Registration details are specified by category. General race registration opens June 5, 2026 and closes September 28, 2026. Registration for the 12 and under fun run opens August 26, 2026 and also closes September 28, 2026. Published registration fees are $50.00 for the 10K, $40.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 1 mile for ages 13 and older, and $15.00 for the 1 mile for ages 12 and under.
