Run for Hope - Oklahoma City
The Run for Hope - Oklahoma City is an annual event organized to remember and celebrate individuals who have lost their lives to addiction. Now in its third year, the event is hosted by the Finding Hope and Hope After Loss Support Groups. All financial proceeds from the race are used to fund these support groups, which provide resources for families navigating addiction recovery or grieving the loss of a loved one.
The event features several participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Memorial Mile
- Virtual Race (participate from any location)
Participants in the 5K and 1 Mile events can expect a family-focused atmosphere on race day. The venue includes additional attractions such as inflatables, food trucks, and music provided by a DJ. A group photo and scheduled announcements take place prior to the start of the athletic events.
Registration for the races includes an option for event merchandise and swag, with a fulfillment guarantee for those who register by mid-July. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day prior to the race at the Hope is Alive facility in Oklahoma City. The Virtual Race option allows participants to complete a 5K distance independently while still receiving the event shirt and promotional items.
