Run for Hope : Jacksonville
Run for Hope is a community running event held on June 6, 2026, at 1201 Kings Avenue in the San Marco area of Jacksonville. The course follows the Southbank Riverwalk and the event includes a 5K and a 1-mile fun run.
The event supports the Villages of Hope, which provides sanctuary, refuge, and restoration services to women in northeast Florida who are affected by sexual exploitation and substance abuse. Proceeds are designated to support a two-year rent-free program with wraparound services and to maintain the tiny home village that offers safety, support, and community.
Race features listed for the event include shirts for registrants, medals for finishers, overall and age-group awards, and post-race activities including an awards ceremony. Awards are given to top overall finishers (male and female), master winners (male and female), and multiple age-group categories: 10 and under; 11-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over.
Packet pickup is available the day before at two 1st Place Sports locations (Mandarin and San Marco Square) and at the race site on race day. Entry fees change by registration date and are higher closer to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
