Run for Heroes Half Marathon - Vienna, IL
Run for Heroes is a multi-distance running event held in Vienna City Park / Tunnel Hill Trail on May 23, 2026. The program includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K and a free kids run, all taking place at the park and nearby trail.

Registration for the main races opens January 1, 2026 and closes March 2, 2026. The listed entry fees are $60 for the half marathon, $35 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and no fee for the kids run. May 13 is the final date to register to be guaranteed a shirt.
Awards are offered for overall male and female winners and for age-group winners (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-99) for the 5K, 10K and half marathon. A finisher medal is provided to all half marathon finishers.
Event services include a SAG station with drinks and snacks and a SAG driver during run times. Race timing for competitive runners will be provided by To The Finish timing. Early packet pickup is available at the Forman Depot Museum on the day of the event. Sponsors listed for 2026 include local businesses and organizations.
