Run for Heart Warriors 5k
Run for Heart Warriors 5k takes place on June 28, 2026, at Queeny Park in St. Louis (550 Weidman Rd, St. Louis, MO 63131). The event includes an in-person, chip timed 5k on park trails and a virtual 5k option.
The in-person route runs primarily on gravel trails and walkers are welcome. Virtual participants may upload results between June 1 and June 28. The event is organized to raise awareness and to provide support for children and families affected by pediatric heart disease, benefiting the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation.
On-site features listed for the event include a DJ, the St. Louis BLUES mascot, a coffee truck with beverages for purchase, pretzels supplied by the Ballwin Philly Pretzel Factory, and post-race snacks from Whole Foods in Town & Country. Queeny Park has a renovated playground within walking distance of the event area. Attendance prizes are offered during the event.
Awards for the in-person 5k include a $50 TARGET gift card for the top three overall female and top three overall male finishers, plus top finisher awards for male and female winners in each age division. Age divisions are 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and up.
