Run for East Lake 5K and Fun Run
The Run for East Lake takes place on August 8, 2026 in Atlanta at Charles R. Drew Charter School Junior and Senior Academy. The program includes a 5K race that starts and finishes at the school and follows a route through the East Lake neighborhood, passing the Villages of East Lake, East Lake Family YMCA, Charlie Yates Golf Course, and the back nine holes of East Lake Golf Club, which is the site of the TOUR Championship scheduled for August 26 to 30, 2026.

- 400 meter Fun Run, one lap around the track for ages 12 and under
Registration information is provided for each event. Registration opens on March 16, 2026. The 5K has a registration fee of $30 and a registration close date of April 19, 2026. The Fun Run has a registration fee of $20 and a registration close date of August 8, 2026.
The event is hosted by the East Lake Foundation in partnership with East Lake Family YMCA and TOUR Championship. Founded in 1995, the East Lake Foundation supports mixed income housing, education from early childhood through college, community wellness, entrepreneurship, career readiness, and financial literacy as part of its community revitalization work.
