About the race
Run for Caumsett 5K Run/Walk is a community running event at Caumsett State Park, 25 Lloyd Harbor Road, Lloyd Harbor, NY 11743. The event features a 5K run/walk on park roads and trails and includes participant amenities and post-race activities.
Registration is not yet open. Park entry fees will be waived for all entrants.
Event amenities include special SWAG gear provided by JAG Physical Therapy, premium race winner prizes, post-race awards and special refreshments, sponsor tables from Douglas Elliman and Signature Properties, and a snacks and nutrition table sponsored by 8Well.
Awards are offered for the top finishers and age groups. Overall top three male and female finishers receive cash prizes of $100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd. Age-group winners are recognized in standard ranges including 12 & under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74, and 75+. The fastest team receives online recognition with a photo; scoring requires a co-ed team of at least three members.
Early bib pickup is available at JAG Physical Therapy in Huntington Village and there is day-of pickup onsite at Caumsett State Park. Participants should know their bib number; a self-lookup area is provided. Live online, email, and text results are available along with free video and same-day finish line photos.
