Event overview
Run for Autism is the 5th annual community awareness and acceptance event supporting Arizona Autism United. It is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Kiwanis Park North Field in Tempe, Arizona. The event raises funds for programs that serve local families living with autism and other developmental disabilities; the organizer states that 100% of proceeds will go to those programs.

On-site activities include check-in, vendors, lawn games, a group stretch, opening remarks and an awards ceremony. Awards will be given to top-fundraising teams and top overall 5K runners.
Entry and inclusions
Entry fees vary by registration period. A virtual option is available; virtual participants receive a custom finisher’s medal and a custom dri-fit tech shirt, and virtual race packets are to be mailed the week of March 11. All participants receive a custom event finisher’s medal and a custom event dri-fit shirt unless they choose a no-shirt option for a discount. Pre- and post-race refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water and Gatorade. Race-related items will not be mailed to registrants who do not attend in person.
