Strut Your Stuffing 5K - Chandler, AZ
Strut Your Stuffing is a Thanksgiving Day 5K held at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler, Arizona on Thursday, November 26. Packet pickup is available the day before from 12:00 to 3:00 PM in the southeast parking area by the black tents, and race-day packet pickup is available on site with a required bib pickup cutoff at 7:30 AM. A course map is published on MapMyRun.
The event offers a large 6-inch polished silver finisher medal whose design references the Arizona state flag, a strutting turkey, cactus motifs, and fall tones. Optional race shirts are available in several colors and sizes: a light red heather long sleeve (unisex S–3X), a heather indigo short sleeve (unisex S–4X), and a light blue youth short sleeve (Youth S–M). The race includes music, refreshments, free parking, professional disposable chip timing with immediate results shown on screen or sent by text, and event photography free to download without watermarks.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in age-group categories spanning Under 8 through 80+. A water station is provided roughly at the halfway point. Traditional apple fritters will be available from The Doughnut Peddler. A collection drive for City Hope will accept food, clothing, and hygiene donations at packet pickup and on race morning.
