Coventry 10K event overview
The Coventry 10K is a city centre road race that follows streets past the Wave Waterpark and Moseley Avenue Park before finishing at Cox Street. The race is staged alongside the Coventry Half Marathon on the same day. Entrants must be 15 years or over on event day.
Race services include chip timing, a finisher goody bag and an exclusive finisher medal. There is an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt. MarathonPhotos will photograph the course and images are available to purchase. Results are published on the event results pages after the race.
An Event Village provides food and drink for participants and spectators, space for partner charities, and a recovery area. Coventry University supplies baggage storage located in the students hub, and complimentary post-race massages are available in the Event Village. Toilets are located in the students hub of Coventry University.
On course there are water stations offering 330 ml bottles and recycling bins at each water station. Fixed first aid stations are positioned near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein carry flags showing target finish times. Supervised cycle parking is provided near the start on Gosford Street and cycle hire docks are nearby on Gosford Street and Cox Street.
The event includes sustainability measures such as recycling bins on course and JogOn trainer drop-off stations next to the Race Office. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
