Run for Ag
The Centennial FFA Alumni is organizing the third annual Run for Ag in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This community event takes place at the Las Cruces Dam Open Space Trail, specifically on the path located behind the Lohman dam and the wetland area. The event serves as a fundraiser to support agricultural education and various student activities for the local Centennial FFA chapter.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5 km race
- 1 mile Fun Run and walk
The course is set on the Dam Trail, with parking available at the trailhead or in nearby commercial parking lots. For the 5 km event, race results will be recorded using bib numbers, which must be worn flat on the front of the participant's clothing. Hydration stations will be available on-site during the event.
All finishers in both the 5 km and 1 mile events will receive a commemorative medal. Following the tabulation of results for the 5 km race, recognition and medals will be awarded to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers. Participants who register by March 1, 2026, are guaranteed an event t-shirt; after this date, shirts are distributed based on remaining availability.
