Run For A Vet : Branson, MO
The Run For A Vet takes place on June 6, 2026, at the Dewey Short Visitor Center, 4500 State Hwy 165, Branson, MO 65616. The event is sponsored by Branson Veterans of America 913 to raise money for local veterans and their families. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday 5:00 to 7:00 pm. To receive the race t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 25, 2026. All race proceeds go to the local BVA 913 chapter and payments are final; no refunds are allowed.
Events, course and awards
- 5K (one loop of 3.1 miles)
- 1/2 Marathon (three loops of 4.36 miles each)

Prices listed are $30 for the 5K events and $40 for the half marathon events. The course runs from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to the Lakeshore Trail and on to the State Park Marina. The surface is asphalt and the course is an out-and-back route with views of Table Rock Lake. Awards include trophies for Overall Male and Female and Overall Masters Male and Female (40 and above), age-group awards for both sexes across standard age bands, and a finisher’s medal for all participants.
