Run For A Vet (Branson, MO)

Run For A Vet takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Dewey Short Visitor Center, 4500 State Hwy 165, Branson, MO 65616. The event is sponsored by Branson Veterans of America 913 to raise money for veterans in need. The event program includes the following distances:

Course, logistics and awards

The race course runs from the Dewey Short Visitor Center to Lakeshore Trail to State Park Marina on an asphalt-surfaced trail. It is organized as an out-and-back route with views of Table Rock Lake. The 5K is one loop of 3.1 miles. The half marathon is described as three loops of 4.36 miles each.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Race day registration is available at the trailhead. To be sure of receiving a race t-shirt, registration should be completed by May 25, 2026. Awards include trophies for overall male and female and overall masters (age 40 and above), plus age-group awards for male and female categories from 14 & under through 60+.
