Event overview
The "Run For A Vet" is scheduled for June 6, 2026 in Branson, Missouri. The event is organized by the Branson Veterans of America 913 as a fundraiser to raise money for local veterans in need. Packet pickup is offered on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Race day registration is available at the beginning of the running trail. To guarantee receipt of the race t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 25, 2026. All race proceeds go to the local Branson BVA 913 chapter. Payments are final and no refunds are allowed. Awards include trophies for overall male and female and overall masters (age 40 and above), plus age-group awards for both sexes in these categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

- 5K - one loop of 3.1 miles
- 1/2 Marathon - three loops of 4.36 miles each

The in-person course runs from Dewey Short Visitors Center along the Lakeshore Trail to the State Park Marina. The trail surface is asphalt and the course is an out-and-back route with views of Table Rock Lake. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
