Run For A Vet

Run For A Vet is a community running event on June 6, 2026 in Branson, Missouri, held at the Dewey Short Visitors Center, 4500 State Hwy 165. The event is sponsored by Branson Veterans of America 913 and raises funds to support veterans and their families.

The event program includes these options:

• 5K one loop of 3.1 miles
• 1/2 Marathon three loops of 4.36 miles each
• 5K (Virtual)
• 1/2 Marathon (Virtual)

The course runs from the Dewey Short Visitors Center to the Lakeshore Trail and on to the State Park Marina. The route uses an asphalt surfaced trail and is described as an out and back layout with views of Table Rock Lake.

Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday before the race from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Race day registration is available at the beginning of the running trail. To receive the race t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 25, 2026.

Awards include trophies for overall male and female and for overall masters male and female aged 40 and above, plus age group awards for multiple brackets. All participants receive a finisher’s medal. All race proceeds go to the local Branson BVA 913 chapter and payments are final with no refunds.
