Run for a Reason - Jacksonville, FL
Run for a Reason takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Ed Austin Regional Park, 11751 McCormick Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Angel Kids Foundation. The foundation's mission is to improve health outcomes for children and families by creating opportunities for healthy community connections, addressing social determinants of health, and advancing overall well-being.

- 5K - entry fee $20
- 10K - entry fee $20
- Youth 1 Mile Fun Run - entry fee $10
Prices increase after December 31, 2025. The event will be professionally chip timed by Second Wind Race Timing. Runners will be self-seeded and begin from the start/finish arch. Overall awards for the 5K and 10K are based on gun time. Age group awards are based on chip time.
Course and awards
The 5K is an out-and-back run along the Ed Austin walkway, with start and finish located near the football field. The 10K is a two-lap version of the 5K course. Overall winners for the 5K and 10K will include first place men and women. Age group award certificates will be emailed to finishers in categories ranging from 11 & under up to 70+.
