Run for a Reason 5K - Mount Sterling
This inaugural community race takes place on November 21, 2026 at Easy Walker Park, 1398 Osborne Road, Mount Sterling, KY 40353, United States. The event supports Mt. Sterling Health & Rehab and raises funds to provide Christmas gifts, special activities, and meaningful moments for its residents.
The main activity is a timed 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk on paved trail and road surfaces through Easy Walker Park. Awards are given to top finishers. Participants may use strollers and bring dogs on fixed length leashes. Commemorative long sleeved T-shirts are available while supplies last. Food and fellowship are listed as part of the event.
Additional options include a free Kid's Dash for children 9 and under, where each child receives a participation medal and shirts are available for a ten dollar add on, and a virtual 5K option. Virtual participants who pay the listed donation will receive a commemorative race T-shirt by mail or delivery.
Volunteer roles are requested to staff the event; the organizer seeks five to seven volunteers for a 3.5-hour race day shift. Volunteers receive a race T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
