Run Dorney Lake Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k - 26 September 2026
The event offers Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k races at Dorney Lake, near the village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire. Dorney Lake is a purpose-built rowing lake and was the venue for the London 2012 Olympic rowing events; the grounds form the running setting.
The course is on road and is described as flat. Distances use laps around the lake. Marathon entries have a four hour cut-off and all races are chip-timed.
Distances and course details:
- Marathon: 8 laps plus U-turn each lap; elevation 54 m; road
- Half Marathon: 4 laps plus U-turn each lap; elevation 27 m; road
- 10k: 2 laps; elevation 15 m; road
- 5k: 1 lap; elevation 8 m; road
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. Marshals guide participants on course and an event village provides food, drink and partner freebies at the finish.
The organiser reports ongoing sustainability work. RunThrough memberships can be used for entry but once the event sells out no additional places will be available; there will be no member desk and member bibs cannot be used at this event.
