6th Annual RUN DAYTONA Racing Weekend
The RUN DAYTONA racing weekend takes place at the Daytona International Speedway property. This event provides participants with the opportunity to run on the famous track, often referred to as the "World Center of Racing." Each race distance includes one full lap on the speedway track, offering views of the facility throughout the course.
Available race distances and formats include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
- Double Dare (Combining two distance events)
- Triple Dare (Combining three distance events)
The event is staged from ONE DAYTONA, a retail, dining, and entertainment district located directly across from the speedway. All parking for participants and spectators is situated within this complex. The venue features multiple hotel partners within walking distance of the start and finish lines.
Participants in the Dare categories receive additional medals and race items. The weekend also features team registration options and post-race celebrations held in Victory Circle at ONE DAYTONA. Age group awards are presented for the top overall male and female runners, masters, and across various age brackets ranging from 14 and under to 75 and over. Registered athletes receive a race shirt, a custom bib, professional digital photography, and a finisher medal for each completed distance.
Course time limits are in effect for all distances. The 5 km has a 75-minute limit, the 10 km must be completed in 1 hour and 45 minutes, and 15 km participants must reach the 5-mile mark by a specific time to complete the full course.
