Event overview

RUN DAYTONA Racing Weekend takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 2026. Races use course sections on Daytona International Speedway property, and each participant will run one lap on the Speedway track during each distance event. Multiple-event entries are offered as "Double Dare" and "Triple Dare" options. Double Dare pricing is listed between $60 and $80; Triple Dare is $100. Individual event entry fees shown are $25 for a 5K, $35 for a 10K, and $45 for a 15K.

Logistics, awards and policies

Packet pickup is available at The Running Elements store in ONE DAYTONA on the days before and during the weekend, and on Sunday at the pedestrian bridge on the Speedway side. All participant and spectator parking is located in the ONE DAYTONA shopping complex at 1 Daytona Blvd. Awards are given for Top Overall and Top Masters, plus top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 14 and under through 75+. Non-binary and "Prefer Not to Say" time categories are available; those categories do not receive age awards. Race swag varies by registration: single-race entries include a shirt, bib and finisher medal; Double and Triple Dare entries include additional medals, bibs and announced items. The event runs rain or shine. In case of lightning, guests must seek shelter; canceled races may be moved to the next available RUN DAYTONA time or converted to virtual finishes. No refunds are given. Time limits are set for each distance; the 5K and 10K have published maximum course times and the 15K includes a course cutoff requiring runners to reach a specified mark before the course closes.
