Boulderthon powered by lululemon: The Boulder Marathon
Boulderthon is a multi-distance road race held in downtown Boulder, Colorado, centered on Pearl Street and finishing on Spruce. The event offers several distances: a full marathon, half marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and a Kids Run.
All participants receive a choice of a lululemon Metal Vent Tech or Swiftly Tech long sleeve, and a limited edition lululemon x Boulderthon merch shop is onsite during race weekend. The event includes a finisher medal, Laurel Chip Timing for near real-time tracking, event photography, water and hydration stations, pre-race and on-course fueling, gear check, medical support, and cheer stations. Marathon and half marathon runners receive a complimentary Athletic Brewing drink.
The 5K and 10K are all-roads courses; the 5K features one of the largest prize purses in the nation at over $40,000. The marathon course passes landmarks such as the Boulder Reservoir and offers views of the Flatiron mountains. Boulderthon is Boston Marathon qualifying and USATF sanctioned. The event also hosts a large outdoor expo with 70 plus partners and draws over 40,000 total attendees.
Age limits apply: runners must be at least 9 years old for the half marathon and 13 years old for the marathon. Pace groups are provided for both marathon and half marathon distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
