Run Boulderthon: The Boulder Marathon
Boulderthon is a fall race weekend in Boulder, Colorado, that presents multiple race distances and a capped field of 15,000 runners. The event draws participants from all 50 states and more than a dozen countries and has received recognition from outlets such as USA TODAY, Runner's World, Active, and HalfMarathons.Net.
The course is set at the foothills of the Rockies with views of the Flatirons and Colorado fall foliage. On-course support includes Precision Fuel & Hydration stations approximately every two miles, live music, and community-powered cheer zones. Event tech features near real-time runner tracking with mid-race audio cheers, personalized race insights, smart tracking, AI-powered race recaps, and near real-time photos.
Sustainability measures include 100% hemp race bibs used for the 5K, 100% recycled medals, reusable and compostable cup options along the course, and aluminum cans at the finish to support recycling. Every finisher receives a limited-edition lululemon long sleeve top (Metal Vent Long Sleeve or Swiftly 2.0 Hip Length Long Sleeve).
Race weekend programming includes an outdoor expo on Pearl Street and an after-party with live music. The event lists marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and a kids run among its offered distances.
