About the race
Boulderthon is a fall race weekend held in Boulder, Colorado beneath the Flatirons. The event scheduled for September 27, 2026 hosts more than 15,000 runners from all 50 states and multiple countries and has received national recognition from publications such as Runner’s World, USA TODAY and Active.

Sustainability measures cited for the event include race bibs for the 5K made from industrial hemp, 100% recycled medals, reusable and compostable cups intended to reduce landfill waste, and aluminum cans at the finish for recyclable hydration.
