Run Bolton Abbey 2026
Run Bolton Abbey is a trail running event set on the Bolton Abbey Estate in North Yorkshire on Sunday 8 November 2026. Multiple race distances are offered, all following revised routes that run around the Abbey and include sections not usually accessible to the public. The course is trail underfoot and described as hilly. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Distances include:
- Half marathon 13.1 miles
- 10 mile
- 10K
- 2.4 mile family fun run
Race headquarters are on the field opposite Cavendish Pavilions. Facilities listed for the event include water and toilets. There are no distance markers, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Free parking is provided all day. There will be strict cut offs for the 10 mile and half marathon distances. Each finisher receives a medal made from fallen trees from within the Bolton Abbey Estate.
Entry is limited to 1200 places and entry on the day is not available. Entry fees include race fees and parking and are shown for each distance as part of the event information.
