Run Barra

Run Barra 2025 is a running event held at Meldrum Academy Sports Field in Oldmeldrum, Scotland. It features two main race distances: a 10K and a 5K. The 10K course combines road and cross-country terrain, including a challenging 1km climb up Barra Hill with panoramic views of Aberdeenshire, followed by a fast downhill road section.

The 5K route skirts the edge of the Barra Estate with mixed terrain, mostly on tarmac and gravel farm tracks. The event offers well-marked courses, marshal support, water stations for the 10K, and facilities such as toilets and bag drop. Proceeds support families with children facing terminal diagnoses.
