Event overview
The Gordon Rural Action Santa Run takes place on 06 Dec 2025 at the Nordic Ski Centre in Huntly. The event includes a 5k Santa Fun Run plus two children’s races for ages 8-12 and 4-8. Start and finish lines will be at the Nordic Ski Centre. Marshals will be positioned at points on the course and participants are asked to follow marshal instructions. Medals are provided for all finishers. Race timing will not use chip timing and the organisers will not provide official race timing. Water is provided at the finish. The 5k event is open to runners aged 12 years or older. The event is organised under UK Athletics rules.
Entries, fees and logistics
Online entries close on 30 Nov 2025. Entry fees listed are: 5k - £10 and children’s races - £7; these amounts exclude the Entry Central processing fee. A service fee of 4% (minimum £0.50) applies to each sign-up. Entry limits are listed as up to 300 places for the 5k and up to 50 places for each children’s race. On-site registration will take place at the Nordic Ski Centre. Parking is available near the ski centre. Children’s races are followed by tubing and a scavenger hunt.
