Gordon Rural Action Santa Run 2026
The event is a festive running programme held at the Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre on 05 Dec 2026. It includes a main 5 km Santa Fun Run plus two children’s races, all starting and finishing at the Nordic centre.
Distances
- 5 km Santa Fun Run for age 12 and older
- Children’s race for ages 8 to 11
- Children’s race for ages 4 to 7
Entry fees for online entries through the organiser are listed and include an Entry Central processing fee; a service fee of 4 percent (minimum 50 p) applies to sign-ups. Online entries close at midnight on 30 Nov 2026. The 5 km event is organised under UK Athletics rules and is open to runners aged 12 years or older; younger children may be accepted if an accompanying adult commits to run with them.
Course marshals will be present at points on the route and their instructions are given for participant safety. Race timing will not use chip timing. Medals are provided for all finishers and water will be available at the finish. After the races, festive bakes will be available in the Nordic centre and teas and coffee will be on sale.
