Run Baby Run 5K - Lexington
The Run Baby Run 5K is the fifth annual race held on September 26, 2026 at Coldstream Park and the Legacy Trail in Northwest Lexington. The event raises funds to benefit neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) babies and offers multiple participation options.
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 miles
- Kid's Dash : 400 yards (1/4 mile), for kids 10 and under
- Virtual 5K : 3.1 miles, shirt mailed to participants
The in-person 5K is chip timed and awards are presented to the top three men and women overall and to the top three men and women in five-year age divisions. The Kid's Dash is an untimed quarter mile focused on participation; children receive a commemorative T-shirt or may choose no shirt and a participation medal. Virtual participants can complete the 5K on their own schedule within the United States and receive a mailed race shirt as part of their registration.
Additional event features include commemorative race shirts while supplies last, free race photos, social team options with a prize for the largest team, and volunteer opportunities requiring several volunteers to work a multi-hour shift on race day.
