Run at Ribfest 2026
Run at Ribfest takes place at Victoria Park in Kitchener on July 19, 2026. The event is presented as a 5 km fun run held as part of the Ribfest and Craft Beer Show, which runs July 17 to July 19, 2026. The route is a 1.25 km loop through Victoria Park that is closed to traffic and begins and ends inside the licensed festival area.
Participants complete four laps of the loop; the total distance is slightly under 5 km. Each lap returns to the licensed area where a beer sample is provided. The event is described as a fun run rather than a timed race and is restricted to ages 19 and over.
Race entry includes the Ribfest Sunday VIP package. The VIP package includes a VIP wristband, a souvenir sample glass, three additional beer tokens, early access to beer vendors after the run, and access to a shaded VIP tent. The organizer notes that Run Waterloo members receive a 25% discount on the Run Waterloo portion of the registration fee after the VIP portion is removed.
