The event takes place on Friday 10 July 2026 outside the Theatre Royal, New Road, BN1 1UG, Brighton, UK. It consists of a roughly 5 km run held as part of the Run 5.30 tour.
The event is open to a wide range of participants, from children to older adults, and allows pushchairs, wheelchairs and dogs. Entries open online from 1 March. Entry packages include a unique 2026 5.30 T-shirt, a 2026 5.30 medal, seasonal fresh fruit, drinking water, free downloadable event photographs and a 5.30 magazine download. Merchandise will also be available to purchase online at the time of entry.
The published individual entry fee is £22 plus a £1.90 administration fee. Group entry rebates are offered: 5% for four or more entries and 10% for ten or more entries. For each participant, £1 will be donated to Rockinghorse Children’s Charity; additional donations can be made during online registration.
T-shirt collection is scheduled for Thursday 9 July at The Jubilee Library, Brighton, between 10:00 and 18:00; someone else may collect on a participant’s behalf. The poster with the route is provided as a downloadable flyer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
