Run 4 Vets 5K
Run 4 Vets 5K is a community fundraising running event that supports the Pike County American Legion Post 197 veteran and community programs. It takes place on November 14, 2026 at 23 Society Street, Concord, GA.

Registration opens July 19, 2026. Regular race registration for the races closes October 30, 2026; a T shirt only option is available online through November 12, 2026. Published fees include $35 for the 5K, $15 for the 1K Kids Fun Run, $25 for the T shirt only option, and a $50 donation option to honor a deceased veteran that includes one T shirt and the veteran's name on the back of the shirt.
The course is on paved roads, marked with signs at turns, and supported by volunteers. The event will not use chip timing; a gun start will be used and a timing crew will record finisher times and results. The course is open to vehicle traffic so participants should be aware of moving vehicles. One water station is provided about halfway along the 5K.
All registrants receive a race T shirt if registered by the shirt deadline of October 30, 2026, a race bib, course support, and post race refreshments. The 1K Kids Fun Run is limited to youth ages 9 and under and includes a prize for all participants. Inflatable play areas will be supervised for children. Pets are allowed if well trained and leashed; owners are responsible for control. Minors running alone should be registered and accompanied by an adult.
Awards will be given to first and second place male and female finishers in overall, veteran, and the following age groups 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
