Christmas Lane 5k Run/Walk

The Christmas Lane 5k is a seasonal run/walk on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Thomaston, GA. The course begins and finishes at Silvertown Baptist Church, runs down Christmas Lane, and goes through Greatest Generation Park and the historic Silvertown subdivision. Residents on Christmas Lane decorate their homes and yards each December, a tradition in place since the 1970s. Proceeds of the event benefit the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce.

Registration, awards and extras

Standard registration is listed at $40 with a price increase after October 31. Race day registration is offered. A student discount of 20% is available for ages 11-18 using code Student20; a $30 option is available for children 10 and under using code Child30. A long sleeve t-shirt is offered with a t-shirt deadline of November 21. Awards include top three male and female overall, top male and female masters, and top three male and female in each age group (10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+). After the race the Thomaston-Upson Chamber of Commerce will serve homemade vegetable soup, hot chocolate, and coffee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
