Run 4 Hope - 5K Run/Walk
Run 4 Hope is a community 5K run and walk held on May 30, 2026 at Bath Community Park, 1615 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road, Akron, OH 44333. The event benefits the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, which provides free lodging and a supportive, homelike environment for people and caregivers who travel for cancer treatment.
The course uses the running and walking trails of the Bath Township Nature Preserve. There is a chip timed, competitive 5K for runners with medals for the top 3 Overall Male and top 3 Overall Female finishers. Additional awards are presented to the top 3 males and top 3 females in these age groups: 10&under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80&up. Walkers may use the same preserve trails for a noncompetitive stroll.
A virtual participation option is offered; virtual participants complete the 5K on their own and will receive a mailed event shirt. Registration details include an in-person registration fee of $35.00 and a virtual registration fee of $40.00. Registration opens February 20, 2026 and closes May 29, 2026.
