Rudy's Aortic Awareness Run
The event takes place on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Lazy Beach Brewing (7522 Bichon Dr. #100, Corpus Christi, Texas 78414). The venue will host on-site elements including sponsor tables and speakers who will provide information about the event's cause.
A virtual runner option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Virtual registrants receive an official event T-shirt and finisher medal if registered by September 17; shirts and medals will be mailed on September 21. Virtual participants must submit their race results by September 18. Age group awards and overall placements are reserved for in person participants; virtual registrants receive a finisher medal and T-shirt but are not eligible for age group or overall awards.
Finisher medals and T-shirts are also allotted to the first 200 in person participants. Awards are offered in male and female divisions, with categories for overall and masters, plus age brackets: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
