Turkey Shuffle - Corpus Christi
The Turkey Shuffle is a Thanksgiving-season running event at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Texas, held on 11/22/2026. The event takes place on park and greenbelt trails that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt surfaces. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event.
Race options include:
- Kids Dash : about 50 meters, for children 10 and under, untimed.
- 1 Mile : untimed, includes a shirt and medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles) : chip timed, includes overall trophies and age-group awards.
- 10K (6.22 miles) : chip timed, includes overall Bigfoot trophies and age-group awards.
- Volunteer then Run 5K : limited to the first five sign-ups; includes a timed bib, tee, and medal.
- Virtual Run : a remote option at the 6.22 mile distance.
Aid stations with water will be on course. All finishers of all distances receive a medal and shirt. Results and awards are available at the registration tent immediately after participants finish.
Event features include a DJ who will play music and make announcements, live awards, snacks and refreshments at the rally tent, and a costume contest with a trophy and a prize pack that contains a certificate for two future race entries, a HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack.
