Turkey Shuffle - Corpus Christi
The Turkey Shuffle takes place on November 22, 2026 at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Texas. The event offers a mix of in-person and virtual options and includes races for children and adults across several distances.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash, about 50 meter dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 mile for all ages
- 5K 3.11 miles, chip timed
- 10K 6.22 miles, chip timed
- Virtual Run 6.22 miles
- Volunteer then Run option for the 5K limited to the first five participants
Race features include packet pickup starting 1.5 hours before the event, aid stations on course for water and basic assistance, and live awards at the race rally tent. The Kids Dash and the 1 mile events are not chip timed and include a tee shirt and medal; all finishers in all distances receive a medal and shirt. The 5K and 10K offer overall trophies for top finishers, masters recognition pins, and standard age group award pins across multiple age categories.
A costume contest is scheduled with a trophy, a certificate for two future race entries, a grocery gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack for the winner. Music will be provided at the finish area and snacks and refreshments are available after the race.
