RTB Fair Winds 5K/Fun Run
The event is the 4th Annual RTB Fair Winds 5K/Fun Run at Quiet Waters Park, held at the Red Maple / Sassafras Pavilion, 600 Quiet Waters Park Rd, Annapolis, MD. The in-person course follows fully paved trails through woods and meadows. Proceeds support academic scholarships for high school seniors and college students in science programs, and camp scholarships to help children cope with traumatic loss.

Race fees and special pricing are listed for the event: a general in-person registration fee of $35 and a virtual entry fee of $15. Special student pricing is noted in the event details: ages 13 and under $15, students 14 to 22 $25. Race registration is limited.
Included with the race are a running shirt, race support, snack and beverage stations, and a timing bib. Rules for the in-person 5K require participants to be at least 6 years old, prohibit headphones and pets, and require the timing bib to be worn as directed. Parking is available in the Red Maple and Sassafras lots with signage; parking on grass or in undesignated spots is not allowed. The event is planned to run rain or shine; no refunds or transfers are allowed. Organizers will follow local and state COVID-19 guidelines and offer a virtual option if in-person racing is canceled due to restrictions.
