Course, purpose and logistics
The course runs through woods and meadows on fully paved trails inside Quiet Waters Park. Proceeds support academic scholarships for graduating high school seniors, scholarships for college students enrolled in science programs, and camp scholarships to help children cope with traumatic loss. Participants were invited to wear costumes; a prize was listed for the best costume.
