Event
RPV's Run For Myles is a nonprofit road-race event on January 31, 2026, in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. The course starts and finishes at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center and benefits preservation of the city’s trails. Event options include in-person races and a virtual option. Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
- Kids Fun Run
- Virtual 5K/10K
The race order places the 10K before the 5K and the Kids Fun Run follows those events. Announcements and awards are held after the youth race.
Logistics and registration
The event was postponed to January 31, 2026, because recent debris flows, flooding, and storm conditions made the original date unsafe. Registered participants were asked to choose how to proceed by December 15, 2025. Options included transferring the registration to the new date, switching to the virtual race (medal and shirt sent), allowing the organizer to retain the registration fee, or deferring the entry to the fall event.
Bib pickup is available Friday, January 30 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Village Runner Redondo Beach and on race day starting at 7:00 AM. If someone else picks up a packet, they must present a copy of the participant’s ID and a printed, signed waiver. No bibs will be released without ID and a signed waiver. Parking is available at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center and Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall, with shuttles between City Hall and the Interpretive Center.
