RPM 911 5K

RPM 911 5K is a community road race held in Atlanta on September 12, 2026. The event is presented as a day of patriotic remembrance for those affected by the events of September 11, 2001 and as a fundraiser to support patients and veterans served by The Shepherd Center. The race is presented as the 15th annual running of the event.

The event distance is 5K. Registration opens February 4, 2026 and closes September 10, 2026. The published registration fee is $35.00. Packet pickup is available at Road Runner Sports, 3756 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30342, on September 11 and also on race day at the venue.

Proceeds support The Shepherd Center mission, including the SHARE Military Initiative, which provides rehabilitation for service members with traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress from the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts. Other donor funded programs noted include housing for patient families, recreational therapy, and ASW. The Shepherd Center is also preparing a major expansion that the event will help support.

On site activities include family friendly activities and food service. Veterans will serve complimentary barbecue, hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold beverages. The venue is listed as RPM American Legion Post 140 at 3905 Powers Ferry Road, Atlanta GA 30342. Event parking guidance directs participants to park on the north end of Chastain Park near the Chastain Amphitheatre, the swimming pool, and Galloway School, then walk to the hall or use the shuttle; parking in residential areas along Powers Ferry Road is discouraged.
