Royston Turkey Trot 5K and 1 mile fun run
The event is the second annual Royston Turkey Trot, held in Royston, Georgia at Royston Wellness and Community Park, 179 Skelton St. It takes place on November 26, 2026 and is presented as a community Thanksgiving activity.
Distances offered:
- 5K Turkey Trot - 3.1 miles through the streets of downtown Royston
- Fun Run (1 mile) - 1 mile course throughout the wellness park
Both races begin and end at the wellness park. The 5K route includes one water station along the course and an additional water station at the finish line. The fun run follows a course contained within the park.
Registration fees are listed for each event, and participants who register by November 11, 2026 are guaranteed a t-shirt and a finishers medal. The 5K can be completed by walking or running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
