The Royal Marines Athletics Association presents the Royal Marines Band Service Half Marathon, returning to Devon for its sixth year and hosted by CTCRM. The event takes place in Exeter at the Countess Wear Beefeater, 398 Topsham Road, EX2 6HE.
The course is an out and back route along the River Exe described as pancake flat. It begins at Exeter Universitys Nicholas Bull Boathouse and follows the river, passing the grounds of Powderham Castle. The route runs through areas with notable wildlife, including large numbers of deer and local birdlife.
