Royal Beast 12 Hour Run/Walk/Relay
The Royal Beast 12 Hour Run/Walk/Relay takes place on Saturday August 1, 2026 at Southeastway Park in New Palestine, IN. The event offers two entry formats: a 12 hour solo category (LIVE Royal King/Queen Beast) and a 12 hour relay team category (LIVE Royal Team Beast). Participants may choose to use the dirt trail or the paved trail, each following a woodsy loop of about 1-2 miles.
Entrants run or walk as many loops as they can during the 12 hour period. Team members alternate who and when each team member takes their turn; teams may select either the dirt or the paved course. Registration includes a Royal Beast finisher's medal, an ultra soft tech shirt, a 12 hour countdown clock, and a scrolling screen that displays the number of loops completed by individuals and teams.
Prizes and trophies are awarded for top solo male and female finishers and for top teams. On-site amenities listed for the event include a DJ providing music and encouragement, light snacks and water bottles, and food and drink options with an open bar available to participants aged 21 and over and nonalcoholic root beer for others.
