Rowlett Holiday 5K & Fun Run
The Rowlett Holiday 5K & Fun Run is the third annual community race held at Rowlett High School, 4700 President George Bush Highway, Rowlett, TX 75088. The event supports the Rowlett cross country team and includes running, walking, and a shirt-only option.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run (3.1 Miles)
- Kids and Adult Fun Run/Power Walk (1K)
- Shirt Only option for event shirts without participating on course
Race logistics note a combined concrete and field course that includes some narrow sections and an out-and-back route through RHS campus and the Pecan Grove Park trail behind the recreation area. Strollers are not recommended and pets are not allowed on the course. Packet pickup and check-in are at the entrance to the RHS football field. Parking is available in the back of Rowlett High School with limited front parking close to President George Bush Turnpike; Saturday School traffic may affect access.
Every 5K participant will receive a finisher medal. Awards for the 5K include Top 3 male and female overall and age-group awards in these brackets: 18 & under, 19-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61+. Race shirts are grey Sport-Tek Performance Competitor long sleeve dri-fit tees with sponsors printed on the back in white ink. Registrations open August 1, 2026; race entry registration closes October 2, 2026, and shirt-only registration closes December 1, 2026.
