Rowan Glen Run the Risk 10K
The Rowan Glen Run the Risk is a 10K road race organised by Galloway Harriers on 27 September 2026 in Newton Stewart. The event uses a mainly tarmac, undulating course and the start line and registration are at Newton Stewart Golf Club. Total places are 80.
Online entry costs £10 and includes chip timing, first aid, a well marshalled route, limited car parking and toilet facilities, water at the finish and a medal for all finishers. Trophies are awarded for first male and first female and for first local male and female (DG8 postcode). Runners must be at least 16 years old and are respectfully requested not to wear headphones during the race.
Online entries close at midnight on 24 September 2026 or earlier if the event reaches capacity; there are no refunds after entry. There may be entries available on the day at £10 if capacity allows. If the race cannot go ahead for safety reasons, notice will be posted on the Galloway Harriers Facebook page.
