Event Overview

The Route 66 10K is hosted by the Metro Milers running club and is part of the City of Edwardsville's Route 66 Festival. The race takes place annually in June, held in Edwardsville's City Park on the same Saturday as the festival. It is a community-oriented event where a portion of the race budget benefits local not-for-profit organizations, with proceeds promoting physical fitness in the Metro East area.

Event Details

The main race is a 10K. Registration for the standard race costs $40, with a price increase scheduled after May 31, 2026. Age group awards, in five-year increments, are given to the top three in-person finishers in categories ranging from 14 and younger to 70+. All registrants receive a high-quality technical shirt and a finisher swag item. The race uses bib tag timing, and live results are provided on race day.
