Roundtown Classic 5 Mile and 5K
The Roundtown Classic is an annual running and walking event held in Circleville, Ohio. Established in 2005, the event serves as a fundraiser for the Circleville High School Alumni Association, a not-for-profit organization that supports local school activities and scholarships.
Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:
- 5 Mile in-person run
- 5K in-person run or walk
- Virtual 5 Mile or Virtual 5K
- Kids Fun Run for youth up to age 10
The in-person course begins and ends in front of Circleville High School. The route takes participants around the school campus and utilizes the neighboring Roundtown Trail. For those participating in the virtual events, the distance can be completed on a course of the participant's choosing between July 18 and July 25.
Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place finishers overall and within specific age divisions. Age brackets for the 5K start at 10 and under, while the 5 Mile divisions begin at 13 and under, with both races featuring categories up to 80 and over. Packet pick-up is available the day before the race and on the morning of the event at the high school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
