Roughhouse Brewing 5K Beer Run
The Roughhouse Brewing 5K Beer Run takes place in San Marcos on September 19, 2026 and starts and finishes at Roughhouse Brewing Company, 680 Oakwood Loop. The course follows a paved road loop through the rural neighborhood outside the brewery, using Oakwood Loop and Hwy 12 in a clockwise direction. The event is walker friendly and is number 9 in the 2026 Texas 5k 6-Pack Beer Challenge. The event benefits HCWC.
Entry includes a custom finisher glass, four 8 oz tastings of Roughhouse beer, an official race performance fabric T shirt, chip timing, and a well marked and supported course. Additional services and features include free race photos available online after the race, food trucks on site, and free parking at the brewery. Competitive awards are offered for top male and female overall and master 40 and up, with custom awards for the top three male and female in these age groups: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and up. A random drawing for souvenir awards is held after the competitive award ceremony.
Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday of race week at the brewery from 4 PM to 7 PM and on race day at the brewery from 6:30 AM to 8 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
