Rotary Runs The Beach - Indian Rocks Beach
The 8th annual Rotary Runs The Beach takes place on March 6, 2027, on Indian Rocks Beach at the Rocks Beach Access, 1700 Gulf Blvd. Proceeds support Rotary Club of Indian Rocks projects that serve local and international causes.
Event offerings include:
- 5K - chip timed, out and back, medals for age-group winners
- 1 Mile - family fun run/walk on the beach, not timed
- 5K Virtual - run between March 1, 2026 and March 6, 2027; submit time
Registration details:
- 5K registration fee $35; registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes January 21, 2027
- 1 Mile registration fee $30; registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes January 27, 2027
- 5K Virtual registration fee $30; registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes March 5, 2027 A referral program offers a $20 refund for referring five people. Race T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after February 12.
Logistics and amenities: Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are at Guilty Sea, 301 Gulf Boulevard, on March 4 and 5. Race day packet pick-up is at the beach access location. There is a nominal parking fee at on-site kiosks; street parking may be free.
An after-party at Guilty Sea, about one mile from the race location, includes a complimentary beverage for registrants and an optional buffet for $12. The Original Crabby Bill's is the main sponsor. The event runs rain or shine. Photo opportunities include Phinley, the Clearwater Threshers mascot. Teams can be created or joined during registration.
