Event overview
Rotary Runs The Beach is scheduled for March 14, 2026, on Indian Rocks Beach, FL (1700 Gulf Blvd). The 7th annual event offers in-person and virtual options and raises funds for Rotary Club of Indian Rocks projects that support local and international causes.
Race formats and competition
The event includes these options:
- 5K - chip timed, out-and-back course, medals for age-group winners, 10-year age breakouts.
- 1 Mile - family fun run/walk, out-and-back on the beach, not timed.
- 5K - Virtual - virtual participation option.
Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile and virtual 5K. A referral program offers a $20 refund after referring five people. Race T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after February 25.
Logistics and additional notes
Both in-person beach starts use the Rocks Beach Access at 1700 Gulf Blvd. There is a nominal parking fee at the on-site kiosks; city street parking is available without charge. Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are held at Guilty Sea, 301 Gulf Blvd, on the days before the race; race-day packet pick-up is available at the beach access. An after-party at Guilty Sea includes a complimentary beverage for registrants and an optional buffet for a fee. The event is rain or shine. The Original Crabby Bill's is listed as the main sponsor.
