Rotary Runs The Beach 2027
The 8th annual Rotary Runs The Beach takes place on March 6, 2027 at Indian Rocks Beach, starting at the Rocks Beach Access on 1700 Gulf Blvd. The event features beach out-and-back courses and offers multiple participation options.
Distances offered:
- 5K chip timed with medals for age-group winners and 10-year age breakouts
- 1 Mile family fun run/walk on the beach, not timed
- 5K Virtual run with a window for completing and reporting a time
Packet pick-up and in-person registration occur at Guilty Sea, 301 Gulf Boulevard, on March 4 and 5 in the late afternoon and at the beach access on race day. There is a nominal fee for parking at onsite kiosks or free parking on nearby city streets. Race T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after February 12.
A referral program offers a $20 refund for referring five people; registrants receive a confirmation email with a share link. An after-party is planned at Guilty Sea about a mile from the race site; registrants receive one complimentary beverage and a buffet option is available for $12. Proceeds benefit Rotary Club of Indian Rocks projects supporting local and international causes under Rotary’s mission "Service Above Self." The event is rain or shine.
