Rotary Runs the Beach 2026

The 7th annual Rotary Runs the Beach event takes place on Indian Rocks Beach. The event includes three different activities: a timed and chip-measured 5K race, a 1-mile family fun run/walk, and a virtual 5K option.

The 5K and 1-mile events both start on the beach at the Rocks Beach Access, located at 1700 Gulf Blvd. The 5K is an out-and-back course with age-group medals awarded in 10-year categories. The 1-mile event is not timed and is described as family-friendly. Parking is available on-site for a fee at kiosks, or for free on city streets.

Proceeds from the event support the Rotary Club of Indian Rocks, funding local and international community projects.

Packet pick-up is available on March 12th and 13th at Guilty Sea on Gulf Boulevard, and on race day at the beach access starting point. A race t-shirt is not guaranteed for registrations after February 25th. An after-party with a free beverage for registrants is held at Guilty Sea, approximately a mile from the race location. The event proceeds rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
