Rotary Club of Katy Triathlon at the Katy Boardwalk
The event is a multi-discipline race held at The Katy Boardwalk, 24566 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77493. It features multiple race formats with open water swimming, cycling, and running distances organized into individual and team divisions. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Katy scholarship fund for graduating Katy ISD seniors and support community projects.
Distances include:
- Triathlon: 500 meter open water swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Duathlon: 1.5 mile run, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
- Aquabike: 500 meter open water swim, 12 mile bike
- Dash Triathlon: 200 meter open water swim, 8 mile bike, 1.5 mile run
Divisions include individual men's and women's age groups from 12-14 through 80 plus (participants must be at least 12 years old for the youngest age group), Clydesdale and Athena weight divisions with eligibility at 220 pounds and 165 pounds respectively, and 2 or 3 person relays.
Registration opens January 7, 2026 and closes March 7, 2026. Fees vary by event. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday daytime before the event; there is no race day packet pickup. USAT membership card and a photo ID are required for USAT members to claim packets. No refunds or transfers are allowed according to USAT rules.
