Rotary Club of Katy Triathlon at the Katy Boardwalk
The Rotary Club of Katy Triathlon is scheduled for September 6, 2026 at the Katy Boardwalk, 24566 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77493. The event offers multiple multisport formats with open water swim, bike, and run segments. Registration opens January 7, 2026 and closes March 7, 2026. Registration fees are $75 for most individual events and $120 for relay teams.
Distances included:
- Triathlon: 500 meter open water swim / 12 mile bike / 3 mile run
- Dash Triathlon: 200 meter open water swim / 8 mile bike / 1.5 mile run
- Duathlon: 1.5 mile run / 12 mile bike / 3 mile run
- Aquabike: 500 meter open water swim / 12 mile bike
Divisions include individual age groups (12-14, then five-year increments up to 80+), Clydesdale (men 220+ pounds), Athena (women 165+ pounds), and 2- or 3-person relays. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club of Katy scholarship fund, which provides grants to graduating Katy ISD seniors and supports community projects.
Packet pickup is required; it is held Friday, September 4, 2026 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Memorial Hermann Sports Complex, 23910 Katy Fwy, Katy, TX 77493. No race day packet pickup is allowed. There are no refunds or transfers per USAT rules. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
