About the race
The Rotary ALLFIT Coastal Run is a community charity run and walk held along the Pohutukawa Coast. The event began in November 2018 and is organised by the Rotary Club of Pohutukawa Coast Inc.
Since 2024 the event has been centred at Te Puru Park in Beachlands to reduce traffic management costs. The format includes sections with coastal views and added trail segments. For the five years before 2024 the event ran as point-to-point courses starting at Duder Regional Park for the 10 km and Maraetai Beach for the 5 km.

Participants are required to acknowledge an event waiver and the event operates under a published refund policy. The event provides photos from previous editions and posts results and event history information. The organiser maintains a presence on social media and publishes event information and practical details such as pricing, parking, transport, and sponsor acknowledgements.
