Marine Corps League Mud Run
Marine Corps League Mud Run is an obstacle-course event hosted by the Percy John Fulton Detachment of Winston Salem at Jomeokee Park and Campground, 1140 Paces Place, Pinnacle, NC 27043. The event program includes individual and team 5K obstacle-course waves and a shorter children’s race.
Individual entries include a competitive individual wave that awards overall and age-group medals, plus open individual waves that are non-competitive. Team entries include competitive and open team waves; competitive teams are four-person teams that compete for medals. For team entries, only the captain receives an official bib number and other team members record the captain’s bib number on their arm; teams should finish together to record a team result.
Fees listed for the event include individual registration at $40.00, the kids Pollywog race at $15.00, and team registration at $160.00 per team. Packet pick-up is available in Winston Salem at 190 Hanes Mall Circle and also at the event venue on race day.
The course description notes substantial mud and multiple obstacles, including hill climbs, mud pits, and fire hoses.
