Rosscarbery Surf Turf 'n' Tar - Half Marathon
This is an 8th edition event taking place on Saturday 25 April 2026 in Rosscarbery, West Cork, Ireland. It is organized by the Rosscarbery Business Association in conjunction with Rosscarbery Steam Runners AC.
The event is a multi-terrain race. Participants run on road, beach, forest, and trail routes. Registration is limited to a total of 1,000 places across both the 10k and Half Marathon distances. Walkers are only permitted in the 10k event.
The race is chip-timed. All participants receive a finisher medal and a technical top.
Post-race refreshments include a selection of local West Cork produce. All profits from the event are reinvested into community projects such as local amenities, charitable donations, and public works.
Bib collection is available on Friday 24 April from 6pm to 9:30pm and on race day from 7am to 8am at the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.
