The event takes place at Curragh Woods in County Cork on Sunday 1st February 2026. It is part of the Coillte Winter/Spring Trail League, Munster. The long course has a climb of 240 m. The route is fully marked and GPS is allowed.

Course, kit and logistics
The route description notes flowing forest trails with a few ups and downs. Organisers state the course is very mucky and recommend trail runners with good grip. Mandatory kit level is Level A - basic, which includes a showerproof, windproof jacket. Organisers will finalise the actual kit to be carried during the race on the day and will advise this at registration. Runners must have the required items; random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have required items may lead to denied entry or disqualification.
Volunteer roles are needed; non-running volunteers are preferable. Two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year are required to qualify for the end-of-year prize. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
