About the race
Rosebud Running Festival, held in Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, offers a weekend of running for all ages. The event features Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and a 1km Kids Race, with up to 1,000 participants across distances. The course combines Bay Trail paths with some asphalt sections, starting and finishing at Rosebud Skate Park.
The 10km and 5km loop between Rosebud and McCrae, while the Half and Full Marathons run along the bay trail to Capel Sound, with a two-lap format for the full. The course is clearly marked with orange flags, cones, and signage, with timing mats at turnarounds. On-course amenities include taps, toilets, marshals, and safety staff; finishers receive medals.
