About the race
The Rosebud Running Festival is a multi-distance running and walking event held in Rosebud, Victoria on Sunday 13 June 2027. The event starts and finishes at Rosebud Skate Park and has a maximum capacity of 1,000 participants across all events. The course uses a combination of road, shared pathways and the Bay Trail, passing through Rosebud, McCrae, Capel Sound and Rye. Terrain is described as predominantly flat.
Marathon participants complete two laps of the full course. Walkers are allowed in the 10km and 5km events. Every finisher receives an official Rosebud Running Festival finisher medal. Distances offered: - Marathon - Half Marathon - 10km Run or Walk - 5km Run or Walk - 1km Kids Race Minimum age requirements apply for longer distances.
The 1km Kids Race is not timed and parents may run alongside younger children at no additional cost. The event provides public and portable toilets, drinking water taps, aid stations and first aid throughout the course. The race uses integrated timing chips in race bibs and official results are published online after the event. Participants must follow course markings and turnaround points.
For safety, dogs, bikes, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on course. Cut-off times are set for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
