Rosebud Running Festival 2027
The Rosebud Running Festival takes place on Sunday 13 June 2027 in Rosebud, Victoria, with start and finish at Rosebud Skate Park, 1455 Point Nepean Road. The event has a total capacity of 1,000 participants and the marathon entry is limited to 150 runners.
Distances offered include:
- Marathon (max 150 entries)
- Half Marathon
- 10 km Run/Walk
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 1 km Kids Race
The course uses a mix of road, shared pathways, sections of the Bay Trail and foreshore reserve. It is described as predominantly flat; the marathon requires two laps and major turnaround points include timing mats. The 5 km and 10 km routes head toward McCrae then return to Rosebud. The half marathon and marathon continue through Capel Sound with a turnaround near Rye.
Timing is by integrated chip in each race bib. Every finisher receives an official Rosebud Running Festival finisher medal. The kids 1 km race is not timed and parents may run alongside younger children at no additional cost.
Facilities and services on course and at the event include public toilets, drinking water taps, aid stations, first aid, drink stations and clothing bag drop. Walkers are permitted in the 10 km and 5 km events. Dogs bikes scooters and rollerblades are not allowed on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
