Rosebud Running Festival
The Rosebud Running Festival takes place on 7 June 2026 on the Mornington Peninsula with start and finish at Rosebud Skate Park, Nepean Hwy/Boneo Rd, Rosebud. The event offers multiple distances and is limited to a maximum of 1000 competitors overall; the marathon has a 150-entry cap.

The course runs mainly on the Bay Trail with some asphalt paths and passes through a foreshore camping area. The 5 km and 10 km follow Nepean Hwy toward McCrae and return to Rosebud. Half and full marathon routes continue past Rosebud toward Capel Sound with a final turnaround before Rye Pier. The course is described as flat and fast and will be marked with orange flags, cones, fences with arrows, and directional signage. Timing mats will be placed at all turnaround points.
Practical details include bibs with a disposable timing device, drink stations for the half marathon approximately every 3-4 km, two drink stations for the 10 km, and taps and toilets along the route. First aid will be provided by St John crews on the course and at the finish. No dogs, bikes, scooters, or rollerblades are permitted on course.
