Roon The Toon 10K
Roon The Toon 10K takes place at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock on 07 June 2026. The event uses a fast, flat, attractive course that follows the local "Roon The Toon" route and this edition is the Scottish Athletics West District 10K Road and Wheelchair Race Championship.
Distances and event types:
- 10 km road and wheelchair championship
- 10 km Wheelchair and Frame Running (racing chairs, frames and PPE)
- 10 km Stroller Roll non competitive event at the back of the main field
Finishers receive a T shirt and a medal, plus a goody bag that includes a free ticket for a Kilmarnock FC home game (conditions apply) and a Roon the Toon Empire Biscuit. T shirts, medals and goody bags are awarded to finishers only; for Stroller Roll entrants there is one medal or goody bag per entry. Prize allocation: 1st, 2nd and 3rd and team prizes use gun time, while category prizes use chip time.
Team awards include male and female running club prizes and special categories for public service, educational establishments (entrants must be 15 or older on race day), businesses and sports clubs.
