Roofs From The Heart 5K
Roofs From The Heart 5K is the third annual Halloween-themed community run and walk held in Wilmington, Delaware at 1701 Delaware Avenue, Kelly’s Logan House. The event includes a single race distance listed as 5K. Wearing a Halloween costume is optional; there are awards for best adult costume and best youth costume. Organizers ask that costumes remain appropriate for a family event with children present.
The event supports the nonprofit Roofs from the Heart, which provides quality new roofs for households that cannot maintain safe and secure shelter for their families. Registration funds allow the organization to continue roof replacement work for disadvantaged and underserved community members. In 2025 the organization replaced 11 roofs for families in need.
